About Our Air Filter Business
After fifteen years as the general manager at one of Arizona’s leading cooling suppliers, Laurie Iverson decided to open her own company. With her knowledge of the cooling industry itself and the support of many of her of loyal customers, Laurie opened the doors to Air Filtration Specialist in January 2009.
A Different Approach
Determined to have a company that was different from the large companies she had always worked for, Laurie made the decision to make customer service and a knowledgeable sale’s staff her number one priorities.

To accomplish the most important priority, the great customer service, Laurie chose a unique approach. She decided to make her office and warehouses feel more like a home away from home, rather then another industrial storefront. Coffee is always brewing in the morning, and sodas and water are always cold in the afternoon, as Laurie recognized that it was hard work being up on the roofs with so much weather variances in Arizona! Our contractors and other customers all feel perfectly comfortable having a seat under the shade and cooling off with a soda or some water as we run around and pull their orders! We strive to provide a fun, safe, and relaxing atmosphere where our customers love to be!
To find a knowledgeable sales staff, Laurie did not have to look far. A good friend of hers could be considered the grandfather of air filters. From custom filters to HEPA filters, Roy Zeagler was an air filter encyclopedia, and offered his services to teach Laurie and

her other staff members all there is to know about the filtration business. Because Laurie had been in the cooling business for so long, there was little left to teach her, but since she leads by example she also attended the “filtration classes” that Mr. Zeagler taught. At the end of those classes Laurie had a few different employees that became highly specialized in specific areas, such as cutting custom air filters, air filter installs, and sales.
